One Response to “Embassy Suites and other Chicago Hotels?”
I did for my honeymoon. It was reasonable, clean, the atrium is really pretty, you get a couple free drink tickets for the ‘happy hour’ for the guests in the atrium, and it was so close to so many things within walking distance. Michigan Ave., Hard Rock, Planet Hollywood, Rock and Roll McDonald’s, Hooters, etc. There also used to be a nice Greek restaurant located in the Embassy Suites. It was also a short cab ride to the Sears Tower, the Amtrak station, and Second City for improv. I thought it was the ideal hotel to have picked.
*Note: That was 15 years ago, not sure if some of the same restaurants are still in the neighborhood, but it certainly felt safe walking at night.
