My advice is to pick the exact location you want to be in and then look at hotels there. Being in an accessible convenient location is more important than the specifics of the hotel. If paying a tiny bit more is required to be in the middle of things, I would. Think of all the money you will save on cab fare!

Check out UpTake for user reviewed/ranked lists of hotels for Chicago...you can look by amenities, price, locations, etc. You can also check it out for things to do there.

Have  agreat trip! I am envious that you are going to Chicago...it is on my list of places to go. If you are there late June/early July be sure and check out &quot;Taste of Chicago&quot;.
