essex hotel chicago

any thoughts on the metropolis hotel in san francisco??

doing a three stop trip to the USA riviera in vegas the metropolis hotel in san francisco and the essex inn in chicago can any one give any insight into the hotels and also any thing interseting to do in any of the stops thanks

i live in sf and get hotel rooms all the time for fun.

i have stayed at the metropolis twice. the rooms are pretty small but it’s a nice place. (and they give you one of those cool free goodie bags too!) the people that hang out on that block are kind of sketch so be aware. that is the first block that leads into the tenderloin neighborhood with all the wonderful crackheads!! haha

i suggest doing what i do, visiting hotels.com– they have specials on 4 and 5 star rooms all the time. the hotels in the union square and south of market areas are my favorite. i think you would like the westin a lot, it was formally named the argent.
